North Korea Fires Short-Range Projectiles Hours After U.N. Imposes Sanctions


SEOUL, March 3 (Reuters) - North Korea fired several short-range projectiles on Thursday, South Korea's defense ministry said, hours after the U.N. Security Council voted unanimously to impose fresh sanctions on the isolated state.


South Korea's military was trying to determine if the projectiles launched were short-range missiles or artillery fire, a Defence Ministry spokesman said.
